About us

The Louth Vegetarian Group is a friendly, relaxed local group whose aim is to promote and support a vegetarian lifestyle. We have regular and varied social events, both ‘in-house’, such as pot-luck suppers and walks, and also out in the community to help spread the word that catering for vegetarians is good for business.

The group has been running for about five years and is made up of people from all walks of life and different degrees of vegetarianism from those hoping to become vegetarian, to those who are vegan.

Our main aim is to promote a vegetarian lifestyle and support the work of the Vegetarian Society. We also provide help and advice to anyone who is thinking of becoming a vegetarian, or needs to cater for one.

For further information, email us.

There is usually a member of the Group at the Wheatsheaf, Westgate, Louth on the first Tuesday of the month, from 19.30 onwards. We will be in the small (left-hand) bar as you go in through the front door.
